YAY!! I’M PREGNANT!!!! — You know, just in case you didn’t know. My son is 9 so I’ve never done the pregnancy app before. When I was pregnant with Jaiden I had the Verizon Chocolate Something Slide phone and not long after he was born, I had the sidekick! I mean the sidekick was pretty awesome, right? Well, today, I am fancy and have an iPhone. With some exploring, I found the Top 7 Pregnancy Apps I enjoyed.
There is an app for everything. I came across one that allows you to hear your babies heartbeat by putting the phone against your stomach. That’s pretty cool, right? However, the recommended time to use the app is at the point I’m begging this baby to make it’s exit from my body because I want personal space back. So, yeah, I’m good! Plus, I’m pretty sure it would just hear my stomach growling for more food. I’m fat and love food! HAHA!
Moving On to my Top 7 Pregnancy Apps……
Baby Story – Free
Baby Story is pretty awesome with a ton of designs to add to your images. Sorry, no belly pic to show, I am only 8 weeks and it’s all fat, food and happiness at the moment. According to the Baby Story App, my baby is the size of a Jelly Bean, which essentially proves its all fat, food and happiness. The App is free with in-app purchases. They have it where you can buy all the designs for $5.99 which isn’t bad as they have a lot. I took the deal and spent the $5.99. iPhone
The Bump – Free
The Bump is an awesome app. Each week the app provides you with the size your baby is roughly at along with what is happening at this point. You also have an area where you can ask questions. This section is called Real Answers. The answers come from the woman using the app. It’s pretty awesome to be able to communicate with other moms who may be experiencing the same thing as you are. iPhone | Android
Nature – Free
The Nature app is one I am used to because I use their period tracking app called Eve. Nature gives you the run down on what’s happening to your body and baby at each point but what I love about this app most is the log. You can log cramps, morning sickness and more. Nature also has a community section which is awesome. You can chat with other moms and share your photos. Nature is Free with in-app Purchases. I just use the free version. iPhone | Android
Ovia Pregnancy – Free
Ovia Pregnancy is one of my favorite apps. What I love is how it displays the size of your babies hand and foot. It’s amazing to see how little their hands and toes are. You also can compare your babies size to Fruits & Vegetables, Parisian Bakery, Fun & Games, or Weird but Cute Animals. Ovia Pregnancy also gives you a daily update on your baby and what’s happening with him or her. Like when her eyes are developing and how they are fused shut until about half way through your pregnancy. Or it will let you know when the webbing of your little one’s toes and fingers start to disappear. iPhone | Android
Who’s Your Daddy – $2.99
Who’s your daddy is a pregnancy app for dad’s and let me tell you this is awesome! It’s funny! This app gives daddy tips to help make mommy comfortable and happy. Like most pregnancy apps, it gives you updated information on your baby and they can be rather funny. It also shows you a timeline on the baby and testing that will be done. This app is perfect for dads! I love the humor in it too! iPhone
Baby Pics – $2.99
Baby Pics is a fun app where you can add text and graphics to your photos. What I love about this app is that have a cute selection of graphics, including a set of humor ones! They have a bunch of graphics for your pregnancy and when the baby is born. Like most apps, there are in-app purchases. You can get all the extra’s for $4.99 though. Not bad. iPhone | Android
Totally Pregnant – Free
Totally Pregnant is a pretty cool app. I love the interface of the app. One thing I think is cool is they have a section for classes. you can buy different classes to watch on your phone. There is also a section for things near you like Birthing Centers, Mommy Fitness, and Lamaze Centers. Plus so many other things you can look for. You can also get a little peek of a video of what you baby looks like at your stage of pregnancy. Like most apps, there are in-app purchases. iPhone | Android
That concludes my Top 7 Pregnancy Apps. There are a ton of different apps out there and at the end of the day, its going to come down to the one that works best for you. One thing I will always suggest, even though some of these apps, you can chat with other moms, remember to always consult your doctor before anything. I hope you enjoyed my Top 7 Pregnancy Apps! If you have a favorite app that isn’t listed, I’d love to know what it is.
