The Holiday Season is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s the time of the year where families come together and create new memories and chat about old memories. For my family, we come together and bake the cookies. I don’t think I tell my mom this enough, but I love being in the kitchen with her baking up some goodies! This year I want to add something new, fun and easy! Christmas Crinkle Cookies are just that!!
Making cookies during the holidays is a big part of my family tradition. It’s something we’ve always done and in recent years it’s become a little more difficult to do so. Since I moved away from home I want to make sure this is a tradition I stick with. I got to fly home last year for the holidays but sadly this year I can’t. Jaiden and I will be having Christmas by ourselves and we are excited to make some great memories.
Having family traditions are always a great way to bond with one another and create memories. Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies are one of the favorites in my household and as a child, I use to always take the wrapper off the kisses and now my son has taken over the job. Tradition’s don’t always have to say the same as people change and grow, so should the tradition. Christmas Crinkle cookies are a perfect cookie to add to my family tradition and hope you can add them to yours.
Christmas Crinkle Cookies are so easy to make and you only need 4 ingredients, which you most likely already have in your home. I also found that they are so much fun to make with the little ones. This recipe isn’t complicated and would be easy for kids to help with. The kitchen is a great place to spend time together and create forever lasting memories! What I love about this recipe is you can do it any time of the year. I wanted to share with you all Christmas Crinkle Cookies so I chose Christmas colors of course. If you wanted to, you could use any colors you want! You can make them any time of the year and for any occasion!
