10 Ways to Reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags

Monthly subscriptions are a big thing nowadays and I am right on that bandwagon. Ipsy is my favorite one. It’s actually the only subscription I have been loyal too. I have tried but decided not to do again as they aren’t very fitting. With Ipsy, each month you get a new glam bag. Every month the bag is a different style and if you love Ipsy like I do, you probably have a collection of these bags. The question now presents its self, What am I to do with my Ipsy Glam Bag? Today I want to share with you 10 ways to reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags.

I love Ipsy and the Glam Bags I receive, but what I am to do with them? Today I want to share with you 10 Ways to Reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags that are perfect for everyday life!

What is Ipsy?

For those who don’t know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. When you sign up, you are asked to fill out a series of questions and each month you will get a bag based off of your answers. I usually get my bag every month around the 16th. The Ipsy Glam Bag is filled with about 4-5 goodies that fit your answers and come with a new bag design. These bags are pretty awesome. Ipsy is only $10 a month which makes it a pretty great deal if you ask me!

I have 18 Ipsy Glam bags sitting in front of me and I was in need of ways to use them. I love them, but let’s be honest, they are just taking up space. Throwing them out wasn’t an option, I mean they are cute bags! Since I have 18 bags sitting here, I needed to find a purpose for these bags. After messing around and browsing the internet for ideas, I have come up with 10 ways to reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags.

I love Ipsy and the Glam Bags I receive, but what I am to do with them? Today I want to share with you 10 Ways to Reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags that are perfect for everyday life!

Hair Accessory Bag

I have a ton of hair ties and bobby pins that I am always losing because they pretty much just get tossed around. They are in my purse, on my dresser, in a drawer, on the floor and pretty much everywhere in between. Having a bag to put them in makes all the difference! No more searching like a crazy person for me!

Sunglasses Pouch

I don’t wear sunglasses but if you do, your Ipsy Glam bag would be a perfect little bag to hold them and keep them safe. Plus the bags are super cute so you really can’t go wrong there.

Change Purse

I always have a lot of change on me and truth be told it never fits in my wallet. Half the time in ends up in the bottom of my purse. You can use your Ipsy Glam Bag to hold your change in your purse, or even put it on your dresser to dump your change in at night.

Traveling Case

If you are traveling for a night or two, your Ipsy Glam Bag may be perfect to hold your traveled size items. You can pack your toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and other essentials you may need. The Ipsy Glam Bag would be perfect for short travels!

Stash those “unmentionables”

Now, personally, I don’t care if I have pads and tampons laying at the bottom of my purse. Hey, it is MY purse! However, Having them stashed in an Ipsy Glam Bag will keep them all in one place and easy to locate in case of an emergency. No rummaging through your purse when you are freaking out.

Be Creative and make a Purse

I am a pretty creative person but purse making isn’t something I would be good at. Take one of your favorite Ipsy Glam Bags and give it a brand new look and turn it into an awesome and stylish purse!

Need a new Wallet

If you are in need of a new wallet, like me, your Ipsy Glam Bag would make for a fun wallet! My wallet is old and dirty so I am in need of a new one. With the amount of Ipsy Glam Bags I have, I can just use one of them!

Gift Bag

Are you gifting someone something small? If so, you can use your Ipsy Glam Bag as a gift bag! They are cute and would be perfect for any small gift. Just fill them up with tissue paper and have fun! You can’t go wrong with such an awesome “gift bag”.

Cord Holder

If you are like me you probably have a pile of chargers in your purse! I usually have a charger and headphones just tossed in my purse where they get all tangled and knotted. When I need them I am annoyed because they are just a mess. An Ipsy Glam Bag would be perfect to hold these wires and help keep them knot free!

 Make-Up Brush Holder

I have actually received a few different kind os brushes from my Ipsy Subscription. Having one bag designated for those brushes makes it easy to locate them all. No more hunting for my brushes as they are all in one place.

That concludes my 10 Ways to Reuse your Ipsy Glam Bags. These are great for everyday uses and can be used for so many different things.

I’ve often used them to regift things! I also have used one as a pencil case, works with some of them. But yes: traveling, pads/tampons, have used them for all that! Plus the one I always have in my purse with my travel make-up, pills, a mirror and hand sanitizer – and I rotate that one every once in a while ;)

Great idea for using Ipsy bags! While I don’t know anyone that uses Ipsy (if that’s the correct terminology!), I do have family members that have excess bags like these that could be used in the ways you demonstrated/advised. I’ll pass along this very useful information!

My daughter once had a collection of reusable bags from Subway. We saved them and used them to give out party favors at her birthday party one year. I really like the idea of using these as a gift bag or a cord holder. It would be good to label them and store various electronic cords in them.

What a wonderful idea .. love that they are customizable. Also .. great ideas for reusing the bags! If I had an extra stash .. I think I’d drop them off at a shelter for girls or women. I volunteer at a Recovery House .. an in-patient treatment program for teenage girls (and boys). They’re always in need of things like this.

Wow, these are so many amazing ways to reuse those Ipsy bags. I don’t subscribe to Ipsy but I have been thinking of joining. I hear such great things about this company and what they offer. By the way, I’m always trying to reuse bags like this too. It’s so nice being able to find new uses for stuff.

I don’t get Ipsy, but I love this post. It is always better to recycle to avoid creating more waste. I hope a large portion of Ipsy customers find this post so they can consider reusing their bags.

I too have a significant amount of pouches that I had no idea what to do with. One pouch became a makeup bag, one pouch holds sanitary products (very discreetly!), one holds hair accessories, and another holds loyalty cards. I had not heard of Ipsy glam bags before but I would subscribe just to get them – so stylish!

These bags are gorgeous! I am a huge organizer. I’ve got to have things in compartments, bins and bags. I will see about some of these for my beauty items. I need to re-organize those!

I have ipsy bags and bags from other makeup subscriptions that are too cute to part with. I am definitely going to start using one for a change purse. It will save me the time it takes to dig all of the change from the bottom of my purse when it feels a million pounds heavy. I also like the idea of using the bags to store cords.

My handbag is full of bags … just like these. I even use one for my pens. I have found that organizing my handbag with these ipsy bags has helped me stay mostly organized. The only mess I have are receipts, which I should put in the newest ipsy bag.

I saw someone say that her bag is full of bags. That is hilarious and I can relate to it. I would use one for receipts (especially for big purchases and the ones that have surveys on them). I would use another for loose change. One would be dedicated to lipstick – I have 4 or 5 favorites that always end up rolling around in my purse. I would also have one for pens because I can never find one when I need it.

These are great uses for these bags. I could definitely see using the bag as a change purse. Or even for a coupon holder while I am going out shopping at the store. The only one I couldn’t see doing was the cord holder. I have had too many problems with cords bending and fraying to be able to try and do that with the bag.
