Ranch Pasta Salad #SeeTheLite

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Pasta
  • 1 Package of Bacon
  • 12oz Corn (I used frozen)
  • 12 oz Broccoli (I used frozen)
  • 1 Bell Pepper
  • 8oz Cheese Crumbles
  • 1 Bottle of LiteHouse Ranch Dressed
  • Pinch of Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook your pasta according to the direction on box and/or until cooked to your liking.
  2. Fry your bacon so that it becomes nice and crispy. This will make it easy to cut up and crumble for your pasta salad.
  3. Cook your Corn and Broccoli according to the directions on the package and/or to your liking. I used the frozen steamable bags.
  4. While everything is cooking, dice up your pepper to your preference.
  5. Once everything is cooked, blend it all together and put in the fridge to cool off for about an hour.
  6. Once pasta is chilled, add your ranch dressing and cheese crumble and of course enjoy!

I have never tried Litehouse Family Favorites but the Homestyle Ranch would be the flavor I would love to try the most. I would make a chef salad or potato salad using this dressing.

Cold salads are the best during the summer thats practically what I do all summer so I am always in need of some new recipes. I eat salads all summer long because who wants to be over a hot stove.

We don’t have Lighthouse food products in Denmark, and bottled dressings in general are in short supply, so I’ve learned to make my own from scratch, but one of the most missed foods among American expats is definitely Ranch dressing. It always comes up in discussions about food.

I didn’t realize Litehouse Family Favorites dressings were chilled. I totally love that, especially for impromptu situations. I’m loving this recipe you’ve shared here though. Preparing a dish the evening before saves loads of headaches.

Pasta salads are my go-to, especially during the summer when we entertain frequently. They just seem to go perfectly with barbecues. I love that they come chilled. Makes it perfect for those last minute dinner parties and guests.
