Review/Giveaway: Groovy Lab in a Box

August 5, 2014

Who here loves science as much as I do?
I love learning and anything educational. I feel like us as parents need to show our kids that education is important. One thing I love is Science and I know kids to do.

Learning how things work and to see how it happens and what causes it is something all kids are into it. I mean how could you not be? So today I want to bring you this awesome product and an amazing new subscription box that I think all parents should get for their kiddies!

Groovy Lab in a Box is a subscription box that is delivered to your front step every month with all kind of science stuff for your kids to try out! Now this is something I really enjoyed. I love getting my son and the kids into things that are educational. Science is a great way to get them involved!

When you receive your box you will get this Lab notebook which is awesome. It has all the instructions and places where your kids can take notes and draw up their own conclusion and such. It brings back some memories as to when I was a kid and doing science projects for school.

You will also get all of these goodies to completes these projects. Everything is organized and separated in these little baggies which makes it easy to fins everything. This set had three experiments and the kids had a blast with these. They really were so much fun!

We decided to go with the electric one for photos and video. The kids were in love with this one. They were really excited to see how they could get the buzzer to work with a few wires and a battery. Now the instructions were easy to follow and the kids figured this all out in just a few minutes. Now, I was paying for it because they were having too much fun with this buzzer! haha!

The kids LOVED this part. Just by adding the wires to water the buzzer still worked but not as loud. They were so fascinated by everything and Sydney was excited she wanted to take this home to show her mom so she did.

The kids had a blast and did everything that was required to make this work. They were able to add the wires and figure out where they went, measured out the water and just generally had fun with this. The still think it’s so cool.

If you look on my Instagram you can see a video of the kids having fun with this.

Overall I am very happy with this product. I mean who doesn’t love science. There are so many cool things out there that when you break it down to see how it works its just so cool. Over all I say go for it! Order this product! You will not regret it! I mean the kids had a blast and that is all I can ask for. Plus as a parent, they learned a few things which is a HUGE bonus!!!

I love that it has science mixed with the fun. I am an engineer and I think it is important to provide kids with toys, but not any toy; toys that help them learn. Since I am a math and science lover, this would be an awesome gift for my kid. I will be able to teach him about science at the comfort of my home while he has fun :)
