I love planners and everything about them. Something I have seen a lot lately is people using Washi Tape to make their planners more pretty but to also jot down notes and such. Well since I was getting a planner in the mail this is something I was extremely excited to try.
I was able to get in touch with a Etsy shop called Pretty Tape for a review and I am really excited to share this with you all.
I really love everything crafty and I really have to say, I enjoyed this product. I know it may ‘just be tape’ but I mean look at it’s cuteness!! I actually have to say I can not wait to order some because I am slightly addicted! Okay, yeah right … Lets be real, I am TOTALLY addicted!!
The way I have been using Washi Tape the most is in my planner. As you can see here I have the green chevron across 2 days reminding me I need to take my antibiotics 3 times a day. I also have it on the 3 days on the page before this.
I also have the yellow stripes in the bottom corner which is reminding me of a Date Night with my little man. Not that I really need the reminded but just in case, I have it there and it makes my planner look really pretty.
I have these clips that I use for my planner. Just to help keep everything in my folder together. Now I bought the color ones because I didn’t want the plain black or silver ones but the Washi Tape really helped by adding that special touch to them. Now they really match everything that is on the inside of my planner. I mean they are just so cute!!
Hehe, I love these. Here was have some regular old tea light candle. Now there are a few ways you can do these and either which way I love. You can wrap the candle directly or put the washi tape on paper and then wrap it around. I just wrapped the washi tape around the tea light candle just to show you what you could do. I mean even if you don’t like them look at how cute they are. In stead of spending so much on expensive candles for decoration you could just do this. I am just in love with how cute these are. =)
This monster is my binder of patterns for my crocheting. Haha, I know… ITS HUGE. Well it was just all white with the clear sleeve and it could really use a make over. Well I was going to design a cover for it and all that jazz but I decided to use the Washi Tape to see how it would look. I have to admit I am in love with the way my binder looks. I still need to design a title and print it out but there is so much I can do to make this and other binders rock.
I am going to have to order other colors and such because as I am sitting here I am thinking of how I can doctorate my photography binder. I am just in love with this Washi Tape. I mean think of all the things you could decorate. Notebooks, Jars, Pencils… the possibilities are endless.
I am so in love with the way my binder looks. Haha I know I am a nerd!
Pretty Tape has so much in their shop I don’t know how I will be able to control myself. They have Washi Tape, Twine and some really cool gift boxes. I am just in love with this shop!!
