Recipe Covers and Inserts Printables

Last week I shared with you all some 2015 calendars. Something small and simple just to jot down dates and didn’t take up much room.
This week I bring to you some Recipe Covers and Inserts.

If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen where I had asked what everyone would like to see.
I was asked about a full page Recipe Card. Now me being me, I couldn’t just make a recipe page.

I had to make a matching cover and cards.
Today we live in the technology/digital world but some folks out there are still ‘old fashioned’ and like to hand write their recipes. So with that I designed some simple printables for everyone. As you can see in the photo above you have the cover which says ‘Recipes where happiness is homemade’. At the bottom there is a boarder of some kitchen utensils. Now this cover is designed in two colors. Red and Blue. You can choose to print which ever you’d like.

I designed the recipes cards two to a page. Now you can either keep them on the same page or you can cut them in half. Depends on how you would like to store them. They are simple and easy to print. They don’t take up a lot of ink either which is something I like and I know a lot of folks will like this too.

Now we choose to put these into a binder for safe keeping and to stay organized. I choose to use the blue one for the front of this binder. I put the red in the back cover for the time being.

As you can see I punched some wholes and put these babies into a binder. Simple and keeps them organized.

This is just a small sample of the full page recipe card. It has two sections for ingredients and a whole spot for directions at the bottom.

If you would like to download the inserts as well, feel free to click the download button below.

I had a great time making these and I really hope you all love them. Simple and easy to use. Be sure to check out my other freebies and if you are looking for something be sure to let me know. I am always looking for ideas and would love to know what you are interested in.

This is just a great idea! I love it. Ever since I was a child, I used to make cookies, breads, cakes, cupcakes and pies with my mom. I used to always get so excited when she would bring out her recipe box. It had recipes from her grandmother and all those passed down. I hope to get the recipe box when I finally settle down and become an ‘adult’. :D

Recipe cards are a great idea. I really love that they are hand written! What a great idea. I have a huge recipe box and it really needs to be revamped. The binder is an awesome idea, seems so much easier that the box! The dividers are great, too. How many recipes did you get to write out? I started one day, but I gave up!!!! Ugg. Hopefully I will be inspired to get writing again. soon. Diane Sullivan

I love the font you used for recipes & make me. I don’t have a recipe book, so this idea would be awesome to consolidate all of my hand-written recipes on an old dishevelled notepad. I also hav eno idea what to make for supper tonight so I guess I should take that old notepad for a spin, see what’s inside. Haha

Wow these are excellent! Myself I don’t have many recipes but my mom sure does. I will print some out and give them to her. I really love the font and color of these! They are simple, classic and very pretty. Thanks so much for sharing them! I would have never thought of this idea before. It just inspires me to cook more!

These are really adorable. I would love to use these for my best friend’s wedding shower. I love it when people give recipes to the bride during bridal showers. I think these are the best I’ve seen!

I am bookmarking these for when I give out baked goods. This is a great way to have the recipe handy when you know they will love the food. I am old fashion and like to have my recipes in a binder in the kitchen, I am always scared to spill on the computer.

Those are truly beautiful. I have a recipe binder, but it is so disorganized. I am trying to collect my paper and magazine recipes and organize them into something more inspiring. These would be so handy in my everyday meal planning. I’ve got to try them. Thanks!

Wow! I could really use this! I have tons of recipes from my mother that are scattered everywhere. This would be a neat way to compile all of those! And I love the color scheme you used on your binder!

This is great! I really need something like this. I get so many recipes off of Pinterest. Sometimes I print them out or sometimes I just look at them on my iPod while cooking but it would be nice to organize them all and put them in a binder like this instead. Thanks for sharing!

      Hi Mary Jo,

Are you able to download the PDF file? And what happens when you try to print them?

I can’t get the download for the recipe covers to work. It says file isn’t found.
Can you email it to me?
