Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

January 24, 2016

Snow White and the Seven Dwarf’s was just one of my favorite childhood movies! It’s crazy because I haven’t seen the movie in ages and it just wasn’t one of those movies my son was interested in when he was younger. Now that he is older, he was excited to watch Snow White and the Seven Dwarf’s with me.

I am huge on preserving memories and things that are important to me. I love taking photo’s no matter what just because I want to remember that moment. One of the biggest things that I loved when I moved out on my own was finding my old stuff from my childhood.

I came across this one box and when I opened it my heart was filled with love and happiness. It was all my VHS movies from when I was a child. It was one my greatest memories. I want that for my son! I want him to have all these movies he loved from his childhood. I want him to experience the joy that I had. To be able to bond over my childhood movies was one of my greatest memories with my son.

Snow White and the Sever Dwarfs was a classic and one of my all time favorites. What could be better then a Queen winning the hearts of the Seven Dwarfs and triumphs over the evil plans of a wicked queen? This movie was filled with love and friendship!

I sat up and watched this movie in the middle of the night by myself before watching with my son. Is that wrong? I just wanted uninterrupted peace to enjoy the movie. Haha. I love him but he talks a lot sometimes. This was the iconic moment for the Evil Queen and her mirror!

Snow White running through the woods was a scary part to me when I was a child. And all those eyes starring at here. No Thank you! I’ll pass! Then she came to and realized they were just the creature of the woods and they were all so friendly. My favorite!

I wish a Queen and woodland creatures would come to my house and clean it like Snow White cleaned the house of the Seven Dwarfs. I have to admit, I am a bit jealous of this! What, a girl can dream right?

Now to meet the Dwarfs! There guys were heard working miners looking for some goodies and of course there was the walk home and their iconic song. I remember singing along as a child.

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho
It’s home from work we go

Remember the Seven Dwarf’s and their beds. Snow White thought they had such silly names but they were very fitting for them and she knew who was who off the bat! =D Took some time but they all became friends and that was my all time favorite.

Let’s not forget the evil queen and her poisoned apple… No thank you lady! Not interested!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarf’s was just one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I still truly enjoy it and love it. I am thankful to be able to add this movie to my DVD collection so that one day my son can open a box of movies like I did.

The best part for me, is that this is the first time they have put Snow White and the Seven Dwarf’s on Digital Download. First time!! I love my DVD’s but I love digital! Great for on the go with all the tables and stuff everyone has! Make’s it so much easier for my son to watch all the movies we have that have digital downloads.

Be sure to check out all the extra’ goodies below!! =D

Alright, so I am really about to age myself, but I remember going to see this movie as a child. We were getting ready to movie cross states and my mom decided to take my sister and I to see this movie to settle us down. I was in love with it instantly, it one of those all time classics that you want everyone in your family to see and enjoy.

One of my favorite movies growing up. I showed it to my kids a few months ago and neither of them liked it. Weirdos! I will try it again in a year or so and see what they think then. My daughter loves dressing up like Snow white though. ;)

I absolutely LOVED Snow White when I was growing up, but as an adult I can see how it must have been somewhat scary for a kid like me. My boys are really timid and shy so I’m not sure that they would like Snow White right now…but I’m sure they will enjoy it later on. It is such a good story, and who doesn’t love dwarfs?!?

I miss all these old-school (but classic) versions of my favourite Disney movies. It’s amazing how far they’ve come with graphics! I love Snow White but I have to admit that my favourites are The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has always been one of my favorite Disney movies! I love watching movies I grew up with my kids, even though they make fun of the special effect (or lack thereof). The digital download option is so nice — and such a great alternative to scratched up discs or ruined VHS tapes!
