Adorkablii is Crocheting and learning to Knit

That's right! You heard it right! Adorkablii is Crocheting! YAY!! Finally bringing my Crocheting to the blog and I couldn't be happier!

When I was 15/16 my mom wanted to teach me to crochet.I had interest but I just couldn’t get it. I couldn’t get past the chain and that became very frustrating.
Well, I picked it back up a few years and I am in love with it. Well, that brings us here!

Adorkablii is Crocheting and learning to knit!! =)
The thing is, I have a small family and not many little ones running around. So when I crochet I don’t have much to do with what I make or want to make. So after much thought and uneasy feelings and mix emotions I took the leap and put what I have up on Facebook to try and sell. =/

I don’t know how well it will go but I shall see. I wanted to share what I have so far on my blog.
I want to try and bring more crafts and yarn onto the blog since it is something I really love and really enjoy doing.
So here goes nothing!!! =P

This is my favorite baby blanket. I have had this yarn for some time and always told myself it would be perfect for a baby blanket. It’s nice and soft and perfect for any little girl. Well, I finally made a baby blanket and was confident in myself I could turn this yarn into a blanket! And I did. I love making them but they are very time-consuming! I would love to make a me size blanket but I don’t know that I have that much patience. =P

This is the first baby blanket I made. Now this one didn’t take as long because I didn’t have to change colors. Naturally, it was still time-consuming but overall, I am very happy with this. Also the first time I have done the ruffle edge. That as fun! =)

This is the newest one of the bunch! I think it turned out pretty cute! Simple and perfect for a little one! =) Keep their head nice and toasty. I love staring at this one! Haha. I think it’s so cute!

I made this some time ago. This was the first pair of pants I made. That was not easy! I remember getting frustrated because I couldn’t get it. But I got it! I didn’t totally gov up! =P As you see it’s a little set with a matching bonnet =)

I don’t remember where I got this yarn but I remember it being the only one there. I couldn’t find any others. I was sad because I think it’s so beautiful and it is so soft!!

I am in love with these!!!! Christmas is some time away but I can’t help how much I love these. A bonnet with a strap and I think the wood button it just the perfect touch! By far one of my favorite things I have made!!

I had wanted to test out the mohawk look to see how well I could do and I have to say these are pretty cool. =) I didn’t know if the yarn would stay up, but it did! =)

Now, these are the same as the ones above without the mohawk. Sometimes just a simple beanie is needed. =)

So that is everything I have in stock right now! I have made so much more than this though. I am proud of the things I have made and I am happy that I can finally bring these things to the blog! I wasn’t sure how I would start introducing crafts and now I can. Which is all because of a review coming up really.

I am getting to work with the amazing company that had the most amazing owners and I am so thrilled to have found them via Instagram, well I should say they found me. The had liked and commented on some of my photos and I have since fallen in love with their work and slightly stalked them. Not in a creepy way so it’s good stalking!

Soon I will be hosting a review and giveaway featuring them. I cannot even express how thrilled I am. They really are some amazing ladies!

Anyways, that is all for now! Be sure to head on over to Facebook and check out the items up for sale I will be adding more as I make them. I am in the middle of making an owl hat now which I have made before and totally adore.

Well, that is the end of Adorkablii is Crocheting and learning to knit!

Oh, and yes, I have been teaching myself to knit! =) I am pretty excited but it’s going to take some time to get the hang of!

Cute stuff! I am a knitter (since I was 7) who is just learning to crochet. I have tried many times over the years, but finally it made sense just recently. I have just been making small motifs like hearts and shamrocks, but I hope to move onto blankets and other projects soon.

Seriously this is pretty amazing crocheting! I’ve always wanted to learn, but my mom tried to teach me once, but being left handed I was getting frustrated with it and just gave up. But now with kids, I want to make cute stuff for them. After I move back home, gonna get my parents to teach me how to do this and sew.. shall be interesting! I just love crochet hats! Do you have a facebook setup already, if so, what’s the link?

I love the purple and teal green in the blanket. Most crocheted blankets are made of boring pale colors. I am so tempted to ask you to make me one just like that one. It is vibrant and I like, I like!!

Hehe, I bought that yarn because of how soft and vibrant the colors were. I wanted to make it for myself but I didn’t have enough yarn so I just made it into a baby blanket =D Hehe. I don’t blame you for liking it! It’s one of my faves!!
