6 Tips for a Successful Morning.

As a single mom and full-time college student, my schedule is pretty busy, to say the least. I am running around doing laundry, cleaning up, doing my school work, helping my son with his school work, and so on. The list is never-ending. Routines aren’t always bad and can be extremely helpful at times. With trying to balance everything I do, my morning routine is essential to me. It gives me stability and a moment to breathe and focus. It’s my 6 tips for a successful morning.

With all the task I have on hand, things can become extremely overwhelming and my morning routine is something for me. It helps me start the day off right and allows me time to wash away the stress of yesterday. Have a successful morning can be crucial to you as it will set your mood for the rest of the day and this is why a good morning routine for yourself is so important.

6 tips for a successful morning.

Waking up Early.

Waking up early, before anyone else, is one of those things I sacrifice. I would love a little bit of extra sleep but having the house nice and quiet is peaceful and it allows me to enjoy my time in the morning to myself. Not allowed to hit that snooze button either. You have to get up, stretch and you start your day!

Hot Coffee or Tea.

Drinking a nice flavorful cup of hot coffee or tea is my morning weakness. I love my coffee so I nice hot cup right after I wake up and before I jump in the shower is blissful for me. Tea is amazing as well. Thre are so many different kinds of teas now, it can be hard to choose. But one way or another I will have a hot cup of something.

Nice Hot Shower.

Taking that nice hot shower in the morning is my favorite. The hot watch feels amazing and it’s a place I can take a moment to relax and gather my thoughts. Use your favorite product, the product you know will make you happy, for me, its Aveeno. I have this secret love for Aveeno products. I’m pretty sure I own a nice collection of their goodies. Positive Thinking.

Positive thinking throughout your morning routine is essential. I can stress about all the things I need to do but it’s important to stay calm and positive. Think of all the good things that can happen today and what you have great in your life. Postive thinking has a way of turning any negative around.

Pamper Yourself.

After my long hot (basically Aveeno) shower, I take a moment to relax. I get what I need out like my makeup, my hair care products, my lotions and I get myself organized and together. Take this time to get yourself together how you want. One of the ways I start pampering myself is with my stress relief lotion. It smells amazing and it truly does help me lower my stress levels. After this, I get myself ready to start the day.

Healthy Breakfast.

Breakfast is something that should be in your morning routine. It’s the food that will fuel your day and allow you to get energized and now over eat throughout the day. Take some time to make yourself something healthy and enjoyable.

With my classes, homework, my son, his homework, laundry, meal prep, my blog, and so on, my life is filled with so much to do and there is never enough time to do it. I am scrambling around to find the time and there isn’t any. This is why I rely on my morning routine so much because it sets my day up for good things and I need that. It’s my little space of peace in a chaotic life.
