Waking up to the smell of coffee is one of those moments I just truly enjoy. I remember the first time I had coffee. I was not too thrilled about trying it but my sister-in-law recommended it and I was like okay. However, I was still unsure. We worked at a pet store together and it was about 30 minutes from where we lived and there was a coffee shop in our shopping center. Charlene lived off of coffee back then and she was in love with this coffee that had chocolate turtles in it. She insisted I try and I did. I did not enjoy it. Haha! Eventually coffee grew on me and now I just love it!

Some people, like my husband can have 5 cups of coffee every day and function really well. Somehow I feel crazy and tired when I’ve had more than one. I do like the energy it gives me though and the taste is yummy. It’s also quite addicting but I still try to stay away if I could simply because I sometimes feel like I get moody too. Guess it’s different for everyone.

I need coffee in my mornings! I can’t get into k-cups though, the cost and environmental impact is a no-go for me. I use a good old fashioned Bialetti stovetop espresso maker that I bought in Italy. It reminds me of grandparents, who were Cuban immigrants and always made their coffee on the stovetop in a Bialetti and drank it strong and black. I think it’s in my genes :)

I will be honest I am not the biggest coffee drinker. I definitely like a good frapp. Give me a good frapp or ice coffee made from the most purest of coffee bean imports and I will be happy!

I’m not a coffee drinker. But these tips would work for a cup of tea too. I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t have my cup of tea in the morning. It wouldn’t be pretty that’s for sure!

I am team coffee all the way. With so many beverage options coffee is the one thing that remains constant. It does have a lot of health benefits and I enjoy every cup of good coffee. However, that brings me to the fact that I need to invest in a new coffee maker, because I’ve been going to my neighbor for coffee for way too long

Keeping me sane and reducing stress – I can definitely vouch for this! I must have a cup of coffee each day I go into work. It’s so weird, because if I’m at home, I rarely crave for it. There are times I want it for the taste, but my nerves are absolutely shot if I’m in the office for more than 3 hours without coffee. I had no clue about the benefit of reducing cavities though. Good stuff!

I’m actually not into coffee, but I can understand the allure to this drink. My sister is one and she does tell me of all the benefits it has for her. Great article! I’ll be sharing this with her.
